One reason people seem to fail at a successful strength training, conditioning, and/or weight management program is that they do not plan their meals. Planning your meals for the day/week is just as important as the time you spend training. If your body is not getting the nutrients it needs, it will not have the fuel to recover and develop.

A great way to help solve this problem is by pre-planning snacks and places to eat on Sunday night before your week starts. Write out a grocery list and places to eat that have the healthy choices your body needs. This way your muscles will never be starving and you will never have to make drastic, unhealthy choices in the spur of the moment.
